After three games our number of bowlers is back to our usual number - around 54. A few new members are taking part. The Rex Ritchie Memorial Shield is on its way with a few bowlers doing well. Fifty two Mooroolbark bowlers played amongst themselves as no Box Hill bowlers turned up. We used No. 3 green (synthetic) for the first time. A bit hard to get used to the speed after grass, but it was good practice for our pennant games. Next week we at home again, to play Heathmont - Joe

This was the last Wednesday Social Bowls for 2008. Great afternoon between ourselves. Two games of 10 ends, lots of laughter & a few trying to upset the opposition with some unusual tackthings.
