- The 28th Annual General Meeting of the Club was held on Sunday, 16 May 2008
New office bearers including Admin. Director Hans Nyhuis who replaced Eric Stevens can be viewed under Officers, the tab for which is at above left side of this column. New Board members include Joe Belli & Gill Ryan.
Annual subscription increased from $165 to $175 and scale of fees can be viewed from Membership tab at above left.
Life Membership was bestowed upon John Drummond.

- VLBA Section President Jeanie Gardoll was pleased with her "Lady President's Day" which was held on Tuesday, 1 April 2008 on a very pleasant warm sunny day with over 100 bowlers present plus special guests in attendance including her mother, sister, children and grand children, Hillviews DLBA President & Secretary, Past Presidents & Life Members.

Congratulations to Sides 3, 4 & 5 on making the finals..
A great effort from Side 3 who won through to receive the winner's plaque.
Sides 4 & 5 tried valiantly but couldn't overcome their oppoosition & had to be happy with Runner-up of their respective Divisions.
Well done everybody.
Thanks to our supporters, those responsible for the finger food on our return, and the bar staff.

- See above for Saturday, 15 March RVBA Pennant Final results for season 2007-08 - 3 sides played off with Side 3 in Div. 4 taking off the plaque by defeating Broadmeadows by 36 shots and Sides 4 & 5 in Divisions 5 & 6, presented with the Runner-up bannerette. A great result for the club. Well done to everybody.
- Congratulations to Rick Bennett, Phil Haynes, Doug Bosman and Ian Harper (skip) who won the Group 12 Fours final on Thursday 3 January but unfortunately were defeated in their first game of the State finals at Altona on 5 March 2008.
