The Greens Committee is busy at present fixing synthetic carpet to the ditch walls of the No. 1 green & it is looking good.

Tournament Chairman Peter has provided next season's calendar of events for posting on the website & he is fine tuning & checking it for the book to ensure that it is accurate. Click on the "Events" menu button at the left to view it. There are some changes in times and Peter & his Committee are going to let us know all about these.

At the Club's 29th Annual General Meeting held on Sunday, 16 May 2009 attended by 89 members (as recorded in attendance book) Executive Director introduced Rowan Alexander, Manager of the Bendigo Community Bank at Mooroolbark who announced that the Bank was to become the Club's major sponsor over the next three years.

Finance Director Bev Drummond presented her last report after having served the club for 15 years, retired from the Board and was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a apir of earrings in appreciation of her dedicated service to the Club.

Neville Roper a former banker who joined the Board two years ago was nominated for and accepted the position of Finance Director.

Subscriptions have increased: full membership rising by $10 to $185. Green fees have remained at $5.00.

Opening Day for Season 2009 - 2010 will be on Sunday, 30 August 2009.

Life Membership was bestowed on each of George Hume and June Simmons for their respective service to the club over many years.

Bill McMahon was appointed as a new Director on the Board.
